Inventory Control Specialist/Customer Support Specialist, Pella, IA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control/Customer Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring greenhouse plant material and hardgoods by performing and managing cycle counting duties to ensure physical products align with electronic inventory.  The Specialist also provides customer support to greenhouse customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):

  • Perform and manage cycle counts as required.
  • Utilize data system to manage product availability.
  • Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy of data in system.
  • Correct inaccuracies and research root cause.
  • Learn plant/material identification and location.
  • Assist Office Admin with customer care when needed.
  • Work with all departments to ensure understanding of availability.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of experience in high-volume inventory warehouse is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Practical knowledge in Microsoft Office required.
  • Will provide training on inventory software.
